Anyone work for Athreon? - zimmy321

Just wondering if anyone has any information on this company or works for them? I cannot find anything in the archives. I know they were previously known as MedGarde but there's really no up-to-date information on them either. Thanks for any input!

Never heard of them but it must be IC work as nothing is mentioned - about benes, etc. NM

I had an interview with them. They do not pay for spaces. I told them good-bye. The woman doing the interview was very nice, if semi-clueless about transcription itself.

Can you be more specific on your description of Athreon? Did they not pay on time or pay at all, was there any work, was all dictation horrible, etc? Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's posts on this company. I got a call last week for an application in MAY. Sure enough, I started asking questions about what I learned from this post (no pay for spaces, IC Business license requirements and pay schedules) and while they gave me that information on the 'first interview' when they did not others, I just got my letter stating we probably were not a good fit.
