I really was happy to get my Amazon gift certificate from Synernet too. Our last paychecks they paid us a good portion of our down time that occurred in April as well. No they are not perfect, line rate a little low but bennies good. If any MT comes on here being grateful to a company she is bashed, called a suit, or a cheerleader. Some people are happy with their jobs. So true that misery loves company. Thank you Synernet for my gift and for paying the down time.

Reading this is like nails on a chalk board. First of all, a small gift card for this week says nothing compared to the lack of respect we receive and lack of compensation at this company. Secondly, to give people the impression that a large amount of downtime was paid is just outright wrong. A good portion was not paid. I personally had to make arrangements for the rent and bills because of that disaster which again reflects the mismanagement at this company. What is wrong with treating people with respect, paying them a living wage, and making sure that the infrastructure of the workplace including computer systems are in order. This sugar coating a bad, bad situation is just another way people who remain at this place continue to take the garbage dished out. But to lure others into thinking it is all fine and dandy that is wrong. I am sorry but what is going on in that place and has for years just demonstrates the amount of what people continue to take in this industry and what companies get away with. IMHO.

how to budget your money for a rainy day? Seriously, if all it takes is one paycheck for you not to be able to pay your bills, you need a new job or Budgeting 101 education. Yes, it can be done by anybody no matter how much you make. Anybody can save enough aside for one month's bills. Maybe that was a wake-up call. Go ahead and dislike, truth always brings out the haters.

You know nothing about that person's circumstances, so who are you to sit on your high horse and judge? There are plenty of people who, unfortunately, live paycheck to paycheck. I guess they all were not fortunate enough to have your supreme wisdom and guidance.

As if this nonstop mandatory overtime was not enough, now we are told no more days off from July until September? What the hell Synernet. Come on. We are working our butts off and a little courtesy as to a lousy day off on a Friday or Monday would be nice. Work work and no play makes for people leaving. Why bother working this hard when you can't take your time off? Gimme a break. More lies about things will get better with increased staffing.

on line to have down time. What on-line business doesn't have problems with down time? It comes with the territory. Synernet has only had one other time that I remember where the down time was more than a few hours. Pretty good record. You're supposed to plan for down time in your job so it doesn't impact you as much. It's called thinking ahead. Now if the system keeps on having glitches all the time on a consistent basis, then that's another story. That means it's an IT problem. We will see what happens. I don't like losing lines during a little bump in the system either.

It's nice that Synernet did that for you, and if you did get down time payment, that is nice too. But I notice that ever since Synernet has chosen to go to voice recognition (I assume they still have some straight transcription but probably a lot of VR too) they have consistently been on here hiring all the time, and you never used to hear a bad thing at all about Synernet, but now you hear bad things quite a bit, plus they are always hiring. Not a good sign.

Not a matter of being rude or pessimistic, that's just reality and the truth. You never used to hear anything bad about Synernet, and now they are hiring all the time AND people are griping. But it is nice they did give their people a gift card at Christmas and that they gave them something for MT week. I'm not being paid that well either, and I heard nothing from my companies about MT week. But I also know that working for Synernet would be more demands. I don't know, I think we all have to agree it's no picnic anywhere you go anymore.

Good grief. I did not change the way I edit. It so depends on how many commas they think you should have. I've been at TTS for almost 3 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about TTS. I never have to guess what TTS expects from me, and I do my best to deliver that on a consistent basis. Communication flows freely and efficiently. My team leader and 2 shift leads are EXCELLENT managers in my opinion. Everything I invest in my job comes back to me and then some.
