Anyone have info on this company and its "job" offer? I see it keeps renewing its ad and wonder if it can't find anyone or if it actually needs a ton of people? Any info would be GREAT.. thanks!

I think it is that they need 15 and can't find any. If you notice, it is not an MT position. They are willing to train, but the requirement is that you have a considerable amount of documented experience in ortho worker's comp transcription. It is highlighted in yellow now, suggesting that people who did not have that were applying.

If you meet the requirements, apply and see if you can pass the test. I don't see any reason to think this is a "job," like it is something suspicious.

I worked for them and the problem is the money they pay is not worth it. They need you to work 40 hours a week because the records are voluminous and take forever to get through. You'd be lucky to clear $10 an hour by the time you're finished. It's really not worth it.

thanks for info.. I have done a lot of W/C reports through the years, including now, but I will not peruse voluminous files for pennies (: So, on to better things!!!

This "company" calling themselves Cypress seems to be a scam. Lawyers giving "tests" of extensive confidential patient info, takes all day to complete. I think they're just getting MT testers to do their work for them for free and never intend to hire anyone. Have heard a lot of bad comments -- no web site to verify their existence, people who never got paid for work they actually did, etc. it looks like they may be breaking HIPAA laws, too. My advice -- STAY AWAY.
