Check out the advertisement on job seekers by "Shannon." Read how it is worded and check out the mistakes in this ad! Wondering if this is out of the country too. Sure sounds like it or this is a really really illiterate American!

Ad is gone. Wonder if anyone applied before it was deleted? Curious as to where they are located and if they have a company name, but probably will never find out.

Persistence: If your ad is deleted, post it again under a different name - I hope no one takes the bait and applies

They must not have gotten enough bites the first time before it was deleted. Now on the Company Board. Same ad – different name. Tried to clean up the abysmal English grammar and spelling – failed miserably. You can still tell English is not their first language.

Wonder how often they will try to relist the ad after it gets deleted. They probably think the Moderators have to take a break sometime.

I think I sent an email asking what epuipment was needed or software was being used, but did not send in a resume with any information. On the radiology shadyacres one. They did answer and said Word and Windows XP.

I think it may have been that Global Marketing Specialist Group as they call themselves. They try and get MTs hired and then get a cut of it somehow is what it sounds like to me.

well, that sounds like the standard employment agency but question - - just asking

What part of their name do we not get here - Global MARKETING Specialists Group -- it doesn't say TRANSCRIPTION anywhere. They 'market' specialists world wide, I'm guessing any field or expertise.

It says great pay but there are 3 dislikes. It is to RCJPS.com. Is that the job placement service that makes you pay $75? Also the other one said mommyjobsonline and it had some dislikes, too. Is that the same deal...pay $75 to get a job that really does not pay that well? Just curious. ...

In case you have not figured this out already, you are probably not going to ever get out of MT into some other office position unless you become proficient in Microsoft Office. I just had an interview and was once again told that I was less likely to be hired without those skills (part of the job is MT; that part they liked). She's paying $8 per hour of audio. Her example is if she gives your 4 hours of audio work, you will get paid $32 for the work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with the 1:3 ratio (3 hours of transcribing per 1 hour audio), that would only come to about $2.60 an hour. Right? Or am I grossly wrong in calculations here? ...

I turned in my 2-week notice and working the last week of the notice. When can I expect to get my last check as I am waiting on labels from the company to send back computer and cannot get CCM to answer as to if check will be held until computer is returned? I'm no genuis, but I think I have to make some changes here. My PT check for 20 hours was around 100 less than my FT 40 hour check. I like my FT job, good accounts, great supervisors, but the lines just don't accumulate there like anywhere else I have ever worked.
