Chase Transcription - anyone work? - Raydonia

Does anybody out there work for Chase Transcriptions? I understand they use ChartNet (hooray!) and do only straight typing, no VR. All good things. However, they only pay a little over 7 cents a line, not so good. I am having a very hard time, not production wise but platform-wise and personnel wise at Transcend, and am looking to make a move but frankly, I can't afford to take any less than I'm getting now. Although... working in a less hostile environment might be worth it after all. Any feedback will be sincerely appreciated.

Seriously, 7 cpl is not bad now-a-days. I'm only getting 4 cpl up to 1800 lines a day, then it goes up to 0.052 cpl for anything over 1800, which still is ridiculous. I have yet to get over 1800 lines a day on this platform, so I'm drowning in debt right now at 4 cpl. Good luck to you.

You. Mean. You. Are. Earning. 4 cpl. I hope to GOD you are not doing straight typing for that wage. If you are talking about VR that's about average.

And YES 7 cpl IS still bad nowadays. In fact, it's rock-bottom and probably one of the lowest wages I've heard.

I wouldn't work for a 0.0625 cpl rate if my life depended on it. You should think more of yourself than to give yourself away like that.

I only put up with it until I found something better after they dropped our rates to that.

YAY! Good on you - glad you got away from that company, you're worth so much more than that. None of us are making any real money right now but those rates are just obscene.

I used to work there a few years ago. The pay was average to below average and then the increase in insurance came and that is when I had to quit. Would have been making next to nothing.

Stay AWAY froim Chase Transcriptionis!!I jumped through hoops to get hired at this company. Took an oral test over the phone and aced it. Then took test on-line and aced it. Would someone explain to me how is that this company can legally pay us a lower rate for ASR compared to transcription?
