Do not work for Accutran in Indiana unless you want to work for free. I got my money JL owed me 3 months after submitting an invoice after threatening her with pressing charges for theft. She had many excuses as to why she could not pay me including blaming Obama. She also lied to me about when I was going to receive my check. She believes it is okay to not pay an MT in a timely manner. She told me when I started, I would be paid 30 days after the invoice was submitted. This never happened. Anyway, I just want to prevent anyone else from having to go through this.

you needing to resort to a small claims suit to get your money. It is here, and that threat has worked for us many times to get someone to pay up what they've owed us. Even today, in fact, it worked.

else to keep in mind if they run into the same situation. Usually the threat with that small fact added works wonders pretty quickly.

Hospitals were filed chapter 13. The services would only get paid once a month, then when the hospital filed, nobody got paid for the month. We all had huge losses, but then there were inhouse jobs...now there is nothing. You work for pennies, or you get nothing.

Had the same experience, same company. Glad I'm out. Tired of the delay in being paid, etc. Working for solid, dependable group now.

It means they are behind in paying their bills and probably - in trouble. another company comes to mind. s/m

That gal in passing conversation said she was using one account's payment to pay another account's transcriptionists who had been stalled long enough, etc., and so on with all her accounts.
That was WS and that owner was a biz ditz.

I am having issues with getting paid in a timely manner, as well. They are very behind even though I work my butt off and have bills to pay!

I received a test from them. It's rather long at 20 mins of dictation in several different specialties. I would totally be leery of this job. They are liars and cheats and are always wanting you to work your days off and over, but pay you NO OVERTIME!! THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND DOES NOT GIVE A RATS BEHIND ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES. I have worked there 4 years and never got a raise, much less any respect for the 21 years I have worked as an MT.
