That happened to me at a job (not MT work) and I just quit on the spot after I found another position. I got so paranoid and even though it may have all been in my mind (which after I quit found out it wasn't), I couldn't go on any longer feeling that way. I was so desperate I didn't care if I took a job I regretted, I just wanted out and would go from there. Luckily it worked out and I am making better money and in a better place.
