How long have you been out of nursing? I have a friend who tried going back to nursing, but she was too far out---too many changes in the 30 years she was out of the nursing field. However, now they are desperate for nurses, so someone may be interested. She ended up being a customer service representative, working from home.

I left MT in 2012; felt the kerplunk coming! I was 57 at the time, so I just needed to ride through until retirement benefits kicked in at 62. Took a job answering phones in a retail business.

Depends on your circumstances if you can afford to do that for all the working years you have left.

Good luck, and congrats!!!
