Good luck. I did the same thing, contacted the client and they told me it wasn't their problem, as they pay her. I inquired about small claims court which would have been a very time-consuming process. Long story short, I was out two months' pay. Again, this job is the worst of the worst, and these companies just use us and abuse us.
I hope you have better luck than I did.
