It makes sense though that if you leave something that is a pretty bad situation if you are totally happy with your decision you should be able to break from the whole thing. Otherwise, there must be something you still miss about the occupation, and I think most people that leave just wish it could have stayed the same as it was and they wouldn't had to have left as they did. But, of course, that sure is wishful thinking and it's not ever going to come back.
