It's pretty cut and dry when there is just the plaintiff's attorney, the defense attorny and the witness, but not all depositions are just two attorneys. I've had up to five attorneys in a deposition before, so no easy task to decipher who is speaking when the CR doesn't give you a heads up on who it is. If you're typing an entire transcript, it's a must that the CR actually does more than just push the record button. When you have depositions with more than one defendant or plaintiff, you're liable to have more than two attorneys.
