I have turned down several jobs for this very reason - It is ridiculous

I do not trust a single company who makes you wait an entire MONTH until your first check. There is no excuse for making people wait that long to be paid. There should not be any more than a 2-week wait for your first check. WTF is wrong with these companies??? It's sketchy as all get out. Are we not supposed to eat or pay any bills for a month? Unbelievable. This company can rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.
