I need money now or in two weeks, not a month later, or I wouldn't be looking for a job.
And, as always, the suspicion that there will be some strange reason that you won't get paid, some clause in a contract or the client's contract, or some such thing. There's really no reason if you've completed the work you can't be paid for it right away.
