Beware of Mobile Assistant - Another Scam Posted: Feb 22nd, 2022 - 8:04 pm
They placed an ad today for financial transcription, which I applied for, only to receive an email back saying, "Sorry, we don't hire from your state." I responded and informed them that their ad clearly states, "Working location must be based in the United States" and nowhere does it indicate that there are any states that they do not hire from. I informed them that they really need to update their ad to include the states that they do not hire from so that more people don't waste their time applying if they live in one of those states. No response. Typical. The withholding of this information from their ad is very deceptive and unethical. I believe they are probably yet another scammy company just trying to collect people's personal information.
