I hung onto MT work and finally filed for bankruptcy. I don't know why I did it, and 5 years ago, I broke away from the computer and the delusion of working at home is an ideal job and found something outside of my home and even though I went kicking and screaming, it was all worth it.
There is a world out there and it isn't that hard to find something else and if you want to stay with MT work, do it for supplemental income. I am on Social Security, so don't let age be a detriment to your thinking of looking for something else.
