To "glad to be gone" - sleepymt

I don't know why I got severance pay. It's not much but it better than nothing and will hopefully pay for some of my medication. PTO will also be coming but there is very little there.

Maybe it's because of my state? I'm in Washington. Maybe there is some rule in there about it. Aquity hasn't quite caught up with the laws here about minimum wage and paid sick leave/break pay (separate from PTO).

Your job sounds amazing. I can't even imagine a job with that type of welcoming atmosphere!
