If you want us to be true ICs, dont you DARE send out bitching emails when nobody is available or wants to be available to do a stat.
That was NOT written into the contract we signed. There was nothing in there about keeping a pager in our hands constantly to wait for stat email notifications, nor anything in there about us having to stay by our computer to watch for stat emails all day long.
That hospital wants stats done? Then hire a salaried EMPLOYEE to be ON CALL to get them done on time instead of your multiple begging requests, and then the veiled threats of "if nobody's available..." kind of BS.
Stats? For this kind of pay? Please. Grow a pair and tell the hospital what needs to be done. Or else fork it out of your own pocket to pay somebody to be available 24/7 for those all important STATS.
