If you are no longer receiving paper statements outlining your projected benefit, go to ssa.gov and set up an account. Everything you wanted to know about how much you'd be earning if you retire at x-age will be there.
You do not have to be receiving SS benefits to sign up. Mind you, it's a bit of a pain at first (security stuff), but it's necessary. Also, I think if you don't log in for a certain amount of months after you initially signed up, you'll need to do a new password and security check, so pop in now and then to avoid a second hassle.
