If you have a contract with someone they are to pay you as the contract states. If you are an IC then you are a contracted to work. If you signed a contract that says you will paid when they are paid, then you are correct. If you signed a contract stating you are paid on certain dates then that is when you're supposed to be paid. If you are not paid on that date then they are in breach of the contract. All IC contracts I have ever signed gave me specific pay dates. I have never seen one that said they'll pay me when they get paid....
