is what it's like for me.. I'm given options on how to handle NJA, but sure don't like any of them because each one ultimately costs me when the lack of work isn't even my fault.

If I take the no-pay option, my income suffers.

If I take PTO, that draws down on my hours I may need for necessary absences, like appts, etc.

If I try to reschedule work time due to NJA, there's no guarantee work will be available during the time picked. Plus, it's not fair to the MTs already scheduled to work during those hours, so I've never done it. That just leaves me having to use PTO or no pay.
