then if people take off and work doesnt get done, then we get the screaming emails about how we are a team (we... right... how much do any of them type) and how WE need to work together or WE lose the account.
It's a holiday weekend. People take off. As ICs, we dont have to notify the MTSO if we're taking off. They sure wouldnt give us the courtesy to notify us in advance when we lose the account, in too many cases its all same day notice or no notice if you simply get locked out.
Maybe WE ought to tell the facility to pay a little more for scheduled people or assigned people and the work might get done a little sooner and maybe you'd have people on holiday weekends like this. And if the facility wont pay? Too bad, the work continues to get done whenever it gets done.
