is actually not wanting to deal with anyone period, whether they whine or not. The HIM manager's responsibilities include cutting costs, even at the expense of her own department.

Furthermore, your friend sounds unprofessional. As an HIM manager, she should have a little more respect for her employer and keep her opinions to herself.

Trust me, in that, none of us MTs make hospitals look at Dragon. The administrators of the hospital looking to cut costs look at Dragon. They want to eliminate paying employees and giving out benefits and vacation time, retirement benefits. Sorry to burst your bubble!
