My eyes burned until I got computer glasses. Now no headaches, no burning eyes, no watery eyes, etc., and I use them to watch TV, when using the phone, when looking at anything with a screen. They make a difference. I get them on Ebay, they're cheap, and so worth it.
As for not adding articles, if the specs say it's a vertabim account, they mean it, and the new accounts are especially strict about it. You can't pad your lines trying to correct grammar on a verbatim account.
My account specs are 23 pages. I put up post-it notes for stuff I keep having to look up, that I forget, or things I'm not likely to get very often.
Skip silences unchecked does make a difference. If it's checked, it will miss the first part of some words and you'll get dinged if they hear the slightest beginning of a word that you wouldn't hear if it was checked. Been there, done that.
I've been here 6 years and VR has never learned things, continues to get the same things backwards and wrong. I made macros for them because it's never going to learn.
I can't say it's going to get better, because it's not. It's all a matter of what you're willing to put up with.
