that is a tactic to keep you on. I would stay but I would definitely look elsewhere. I went through the buyout with Synernet. They will keep you and you will not have work for days. The only time and I mean only time I had work was on the weekends and they FORCED me to go to weekends to work which was wrong in itself. Long story short I made less than half - just enough to keep off of unemployment and I ended up quitting. And remember the huge layoff they had? It would be a matter of time before another hits. So be careful if you decide to stay.
