I used to hear that dictated correctly only about 10% of the time, I swear. It seems to not be prescribed very often now, though, so haven't heard it in a while.
"Fee oh REE nul" for Fiorinal once took me waaay too long to figure out. But after that, I then started mentally shifting the major accent from the third syllable to the second syllable for difficult words with that dictator and others with a similar language background, and it helped a lot!
