If your account is/was verbatim and errors were noted, then they are yours, you made them. There are legitimate reasons for blanks being left, like background noise, etc., and I get it. But if QA can clear the blank with little to no problem, what then? I can personally tell you, QA can get things wrong as well, just talk with your AM.
