Leading/trailing zero; number order - Mellin

Posted: Apr 27th, 2019 - 11:05 pm

I was taught, in college, that if someone dictated "6.0" we were supposed to change it to "6" (unless, of course, it was a breast biopsy or something). Also, I was told to put numbers in descending order such as "6 x 5 x 2 cm" rather than "3 x 2 x 6 cm." Am I incorrect? I have no problem admitting if I am wrong, I would just like to know. Thanks!
