Proscript - Grandy

So, one of my friends working at Proscript texted me this morning. QA recently changed her scores, to make it appear that she did not pass the required 98% QA, this is after hundreds of 100% scores. Apparently it is a QA named Valerie who is masterminding this harassment, management is aware and failing to take action. My friend was told that even the "little" words count, however, transcriptionists are not allowed to re-listen to the nitpicked report to see if the "errors" are verifiable. If you put in a "the" Valerie says it was not dictated. If you leave out a "the" Valerie claims it was dictated. There is no winning with this QA. This was the same thing going on with CB a few months ago, but she seems to have cleaned up her act. The Proscript system puts "the" in all over the reports, even when it is not dictated, so why doesn't Proscript fix they system? They system trashed medications, diagnoses, etc., and inserts huge amounts of undictated and/or incorrect information that their transcriptionists have to correct, yet they are worried about the little insignificant words that have no impact on patient care. It is a nightmare according to the majority of their current and past employees. At this point, knowing what I know from my friends and from people on MT Stars, it would appear that Proscript management is using QA to sabotage employees they want to get rid of. My friend has printed proof, from the Proscript system, that her QA scores (for the same reports) were lowered to make her look bad. She also, however, has printed proof of her ongoing 100% QA grades from QA reps who apparently don't have an ax to grind on behalf of management.
