I agree that editing the entries and other duties do not denote the practices of an MT. I’m just very happy that some of us MTs are still needed and utilized to provide the service of editing. I’ve been an MT since ‘84 and had spent way too many years banging away at the keyboard transcribing dictation. That’s a hard way to keep the wolves away from the door, and I empathize with anyone who still has to perform such a grueling way to earn a living.
