I was excited when I saw the ad for AlphaSights, so I applied. I got a phone interview, which seemed to go well, and was sent a proofing test to complete and send back. I read through all the specs and instructions and thought I did a good job, but was told I did not meet their requirements. Although the people were very nice during the interview, I was told the QA editor aspect of the proofreader position was a new team and there was not much interest. However, in the follow up email I was told they had garnered a ton of interest in their ad and had to turn more people away than expected. When I asked if I could reapply, I was told they were not sure when or if they would be reposting. All in all, a positive experience, if a bit disappointing.
