You CAN buy MS Word separately. This past year I was forced to upgrade my MS Office from 2007 to 2016 so the latest Nuance software would work with it. One of my MTSO IT people recommended going to bonanza.com to purchase it as it was WAY cheap and that's where she got her software. I ended up getting Office 2016 for a steal and it works great. They give you the license key and everything. So, check them out if you'd like.
