We should all be making, at the very least, 6-7 cpl for VR with spaces, headers and normals! More realistically, we should be making 7-8 cpl for VR including spaces, if not more and all the above. Pay rate for straight transcription 20-some years ago or more was a starting rate of about 7-8 cpl on up to 10-11-12 cpl with time. What's wrong with this picture! Are we nuts working for this kind of money?!! We all need to get out as soon as possible. If those of you are making 15-$16 an hour from home - good for you - but that would be a rare, rare case! Most of us are making peanuts.
I will tell you, and the day is coming that these companies will not be able to find anyone to work them who knows what they are doing!
