I decided I wanted out of MT several months ago - sm

I applied for several positions on Indeed had a few interviews and am now happily employed in customer service. Even though I've only been at my new position 6 weeks, I've already received free meals, several small gifts, and a raise. It's pretty wonderful to work where I am appreciated. I don't think a day has gone by where someone in leadership didn't compliment me, thank me, etc. Also, my coworkers are all pretty amazing and I look forward to going into work each day.

As far as Indeed goes, I found it was very useful in keeping track of where I had applied and any followup. Also, the reviews of companies are very helpful. I did not post my resume though. I just applied for positions that looked interesting.
