I was surprised because it had been a long time ago when I applied. Live in a very rural area, and there is not much here in the way of jobs, but I want a job out of MT. I was asked if I could come in for an interview on 09/11, which I did. Lasted 15 minutes. I was assured that I would hear back the following day. I still have not heard yea or nay, even though I called on Wednesday to followup and was told I would get a call back yesterday, Thursday. Nada. My gut feeling is that they don't want a senior citizen, even though I was told they could not get people to work early mornings, which is what I would rather do and stated so. I am 73 years old, soon to be 74. Stomped into the ground in this field of MT and now shunned because I'm old. Age discrimination IS alive and well today.
