See what positions are open, which would take the last amount of training. I have been looking at Pharmacy Technician, Sterile processing technician (sterilizing instruments, etc.), PAS (patient access specialist or unit secretary). These require some type of certification and these programs are usually around 6 months to complete. In my state they pay a few $$ more than min. wage but at this point I would be fine doing something like that without the stress of burping and getting your pay docked. At least when you show up and clocked in, you are paid for your time plus benefits.
