Expanders and VDI - SM

I asked a question on the instant text forum. I wanted to know why Instant Text was not compatible with VDI. If you want to see the answer go to the forum under compatibility. Basically I was told it IS compatible, and I believe that to be true.

Has anyone asked the company that is requiring the VDI install exactly why they are not allowing expanders? I would really like to know if they gave you a reason and what that reason was.
