I left Nuance after transcribing for 20 years, a change after 2 decades at age 59. I am working as a pharmacy technician in training at CVS, I'm working part time, so no benefits, but I get paid time and a half to work on holidays if I choose. I actually like the physical part, being on my feet instead of sitting at the job. I feel much better, I am happier and I actually like the work, not crazy about the CE units I have to maintain to keep my state license to work as a pharm. tech., but it's good for my brain, so be it. And I make more an hour in comparison with the fluctuating hourly wage calculated with Nuance.
