I've been at my new job for at little over 6 weeks now. I still like to come in here and see what's happening. Even though I'm commuting for the first time in 20 years, it sure is nice to get a paycheck every 2 weeks that I know is going to be X amount of dollars as long as work at least 40 hours a week. I'm enjoying myself, but it's hard when you're 50 and starting a new career after 20 years. I've got really good benefits and insurance with an actual co-pay again!!! Never thought that would excite me so much. And for the first time in about 15 years, I've got Memorial Day off and I'm actually getting paid for it and don't have to use my vacation time!
