Just got a call from Unemployment adjudicator. He said he goe response from MModal and, in fact, they did fire me. We went through discussions of Performance Management, where I was in that process, etc, etc, had I ever broken policy or ethics in the past, and so on. I had not failed PM, I was in second step or something, and my work wasn't being 100% QA'd. So, from here, he goes back to MM with questions, and if MM fights, then there is a telephone conference. From there, he makes decision. Or something. I'm kind of in denial. I told him the term specifically used was "position eliminated."
So. So disheartening. I have never been fired from a job in my LIFE!!!
