if your employer just broke down the two pay amounts. One would be for your hourly work on the VA accounts. The other would be your pay for line counts. They would even have to be taxed differently because no tax is withheld for IC pay, but there has to be some tax withheld for the VA work. It has been said before that the VA requires an accounting of hours spent working on those accounts for several reasons.
