Self-employment tax is 15.3%, so take half of that.

Then figure in the 17% to 18% less because you are NOT paid for spaces.

Then count up how much healthcare insurance, vacation pay, sick pay, etc., etc., etc. cost.

Sure, compared to other services you get "extra." But you are doing VA accounts that the VA sets the pay for.

You only know that you are getting more than your actual line rate. What if you actually should be getting more and the company is pocketing the profit?
