I work for the other one and tried to get an IC job which subcontracts their work and I was not able to do it. There must be some conflict of interest. Why so many others are able to do this I do not know. Perhaps there is something going on we do not know about which would cause a problem legally for them. Again I believe the big 2 are farming out the work for legal reasons and now the farms are not taking the existing employees for legal reasons. Maybe once they are all let go they can go to the contracting jobs. We will see how this plays out.
