Pearson in Washington State. I was with them for a very short period of time. Their QA was insanely picky. They would completely change sentences to whatever the QA person thought it should be. There was no way to ever meet those kind of QA standards.
I never was paid either because at the time they wouldn't pay for a certain amount of lines, dictations, reports (can't remember which it was) initially. Essentially, you would work for free for a while.
They, at the time, used Word and an ftp site for downloading voice files. It was very labor intensive.
Yeah, dropped out of that nightmare. Maybe they've changed things since then. They were nice people though. It was just too much work for the money.
