LEARN THE DIFFERENCE! - MT

I really wish people would understand the difference between being FIRED and LAID OFF! Nuance LAID OFF employees from California, they were NOT FIRED!

For those of you who do not know............

Fired: If someone is fired, they are being let go for cause (poor performance).

Laid off: If someone is laid off, they're being let go for reasons other than performance!
