The more things change, the more they stay the same. I left Nu(is)ance in 2016, and there have been some truly lean times during the interim, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, ladies and gentlemen. I worked doing data entry for a bit...got laid off. Collected unemployment for a bit and at age 64 and counting, accepted a job as a cashier/receptionist for a local automobile sales and service facility. I work STRAIGHT DAYS Monday to Friday (unheard of previously) for a group of nice folks. I don't make a ton of money but I am collecting early social security and I am not stuck in a chair for 8 hours a day, plus I am getting out of my house, meeting new people, and generally enjoying feeling like a human being again. I will retire with a small amount in a 401K (with company match of 100%) and my feeling of self-worth intact again. It is a mere 3 miles from my house. I wish I had done this YEARS ago. Have faith. Nu(is)ance is not going to change their MO until they are forced to do so. I am grateful for my current blessings and I hope I never have to hear another slurring or fast-talking doctor again as long as I live. Good luck to all of you. You have my respect for hanging in their and my sympathy for what you endure in the name of a paycheck.
