That statement isn't incorrect though, is it? Sure, they'll pay 8 cents per line of straight transcription...IF it's ever available. But it won't be, will it? Oh no--it will be 80% VR and the stuff that may have to be put on straight transcription will be complete shiz that will not only take forever to transcribe, but it will most likely have blanks that have to go to QA where we will be penalized for sending it to QA in the first place, thus lowering our pay even more down the road.
It's a system designed specifically to fail us as an MT. They have it down to a science with their years of experience.
