I worked as an MT for many years, mostly with M*Modal, then with Nuance. I finally was fed up enough, I took the plunge and went to nursing school. It was really tough, but I am working now as a nurse and LOVE IT! I say for those of you who are unhappy, take control of your life and do something fulfilling. Medical transcription is, in my opinion, a dying industry. And medical terminology came in handy for me in my course work, so added bonus!
