I've always been an employee. Years ago I almost went with a company as an IC, but when I check now, IC pay is basically the same as an employee but IC has to pay double Medicare, SS and Federal tax, right? I can't afford that. I'm barely making it now and trying to find a part-time job just to make some extra money. If the right full-time job came along, I'd drop Nuance in a heartbeat.
