1. What do you estimate your hourly income to be, figured over a number of pay periods? This is the ONE figure that takes absolutely all of the variables into account - training pay, downtime, out of work, platform issues, clerical demands, dictators, etc. Interestingly, it's also the ONE number that no MTSO seems to be able to provide when asked: What do your experienced transcriptionists earn per hour? If I were an MTSO you can be damned sure I'd know that number!
2. How complex (read, incomprehensible/unpredictable/unverifiable/myterious/vague) is the pay differential "based on quality and amount sent to QA", which implies to me there is such a sliding scale of some sort?
