I had been receiving partial unemployment for OOW for almost 2 months before the work "or" caused my termination. I had QA scores of 100 for the same week, but "or" was scored as a 3 point error, making my QA 98%.
I continued to receive unemployment for 2 weeks after. Now Nuance is fighting it because they terminated me. They can and will fight it and no doubt win. What I don't understand, is why? My unemployment goes back on the employer I had before Nuance. It is just because they can. I have appealed and awaiting the verdict.
